About Nuno

Senior partner, with more than 20 years of experience and has been working on many highly complex cases in the areas of economic, corporate and contract law, European law, and with a special focus on competition law and regulation.

Has been previously a legal officer at the European Commission, a senior legal officer at the Portuguese Competition Authority and a director at the Health Regulatory Authority.

He holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Porto of the Portuguese Catholic University; a postgraduate degree in European Studies from the Institute of European Studies at the Catholic University of Louvain; a LL.M in EU Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a PhD in Law from the Porto School of the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University.

He is a Professor at the Faculty of Law at ULP, at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto and at the Porto School at the Faculty of Law at the Portuguese Catholic University.

He is editor for the health area of ​​the Journal of Competition & Regulation, author of multiple books and legal articles and invited speaker and trainer in several conferences and legal trainings.
